I no longer have to sift through all the conflicting health and fat loss information out there, wondering what's legit and what's a myth. I am so eternally grateful to have found Leigh. I have been easily maintaining a happy and healthy weight for several years, and have remained a member of Leigh's site for the fun, motivation and extra education it provides. I had stopped singing and dancing over the course of the dieting years. I had sacrificed parts of my personality in order to become thin. I joined the Screw the Scales challenge after getting myself to 230 lbs. I pushed myself beyond what I believed at the time to be my limits and I did a duathlon. It would have been easy to let my replaced hips give me the easy way out, but I've never liked easy. I realized I was motivating others; I couldn't quit. I took home the prizes from that competition but none was bigger than self confidence. This is the most sane, tolerant and effective (non trolled) membership site around, a very helpful community. Confidence is contagious.
My highest weight after 3rd child is 180lbs. Started with Leigh, I am now at my lowest in years of 132. I don't recall how I came across Leigh Peele and her fat loss troubleshoot, but I ordered it. I realized there are no magic tricks or magic diets. I worked with Leigh through consulting and phone calls. She really showed me that accountability was the key to my success. She always told me when I was ready I would do it! She was right!

I came across Leigh's website when I read "WTF Can I Eat?" blog post and the video. It was hilarious but informative - I was intrigued. She was very different from any fitness professionals I have come across. I listened to all of the podcasts and read everything Leigh wrote because it really resonated with me. I knew principles of nutrition, but struggled with a psychological side of dieting. My professors at university weren't able to explain things in such way that I would understand like Leigh did.
I love her no nonsense yet very supportive attitude. I know that anything I read from her will be legit info that I can trust and use on myself and with my own clients.
I went from 190 to 147. I was unhappy with what I saw in the mirror and struggling to lose further. I found Leigh and decided that if I ever wanted a normal diet I needed to take the chance, risk the weight gain, and hopefully end up emotionally and physically happy. As someone with a medical background, I appreciate Leigh's scientific approach and her ability to translate it into practice. First off - thank you! Amazing how simple it really is when I stop kidding myself. You and I had an email exchange as to why I was not seeing any progress in my weight loss and you thought I was making too many errors in my tracking and probably just needed to buckle down and forgo the wine and desserts on weekends for a while. Well it worked! I finally hit my goal weight of 112 lbs!

Surrender to Leigh's wisdom and training and trust the process. My emotions/mind sometimes put up resistance, but I could always trust the program and her. You will learn unexpected things. It is okay to rest. Keep a log. If you are whining too much, give yourself one more minute to whine and then do the program as written. It will take time to learn what you need to do, but then it will get simple and less time consuming.
